Postcards from Polperro 🎣, recently dubbed the UK's 'Little Greece'!

The traditional, untouched fishing village of Polperro is along the dramatic South Cornish coastline between Looe and Fowey. Steeped in maritime history, wandering its pretty, cobbled, winding streets, you will feel like you are stepping back in time 🕰

Here's how you could spend your time in this delightful Cornish fishing village ~

⚓ Wander around Polperro Harbour
The village's prettiest spot, with fishing boats, colourful buildings and little lanes leading down to the water.

🍻 Stop for a cosy pub lunch or a coffee and cake
Blue Peter "The Blue" is especially lovely as it's beside the sea. It has a great atmosphere and serves delicious food. Make sure to visit Clements & Hope; they do amazing coffee!

🏡 Explore the little village streets
Take your time wandering through the narrow lanes, browsing independent shops, galleries and local craft stores.

🥾 Walk the South West Coast Path
Head along the coast for beautiful views back towards the village and out across the sea. You could walk east towards Looe, where you can stop off for lunch at The Sail Loft or High Tide.

🐟 Visit Polperro Harbour Heritage Museum
A small museum on the harbourside exploring the village's fishing and smuggling history. It's a good rainy-day option, although seasonal opening hours apply.

🌊 Discover Polperro Beach and Chapel Pool
Pop down to the small beach just outside the harbour, then look out for Chapel Pool near the harbour entrance. It's a lovely area to explore when the weather and tide are right.

🛻 Visit Polperro Model Village
A miniature version of the village, tucked away in landscaped gardens. It's a quirky little attraction if you fancy something different!

We are proud to announce that we are one of the official sponsors of the Moonlight Memory Walk Cornwall, taking place on Saturday 7 November 2026 at the Lost Gardens of Heligan, St Austell, to celebrate the life of someone you hold in your heart.

Hosted by Children's Hospice South West, this is going to be such a special and uplifting evening, walking the beautiful illuminated paths of Heligan, raising vital funds for families supported by their three hospices, including Little Harbour.

The evening begins with a special memory ceremony, followed by a 4k walk with meaningful moments along the way to pause, reflect and remember your loved one.

A very proud moment! 📣

Three beautiful properties in the lovely Kingsbridge have been awarded the Gold award for the 2026 Best Small New Housing Development by the Devon Building Control Partnership! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Larkrise, Meadow Bank and Estuary Reach are beautifully presented dog friendly townhouses arranged over three floors to make the most of the views over Kingsbridge estuary, and they are all a two-minute stroll into the centre of the town itself.
