It is situated a stones-throw from the beach, above the Village Store with The Hope and Anchor Inn and The Cove Cafe Bar close by. e Cove is a sleepy retreat in the winter but has a buzzing nightlife with The Cove just next door and The Hope and Anchor across the road. Hope Cove bursts into life in the summer months being a popular village for holiday makers and locals alike, with "Hope Cove Weekend" and its pretty beaches. It has a Village Store and Post Office, and many places to eat to suit your taste and pocket. Hope Cove is made up of the two villages Inner and Outer Hope and with their safe sandy beaches sheltered by the rugged cliffs of Bolt Tail make it the perfect setting for a family holiday or a romantic getaway. This is the ideal location for swimming, diving, fishing, golf, tennis, not to mention the amount of wonderful walks around the cliffs and other surrounding villages such as Thurlestone, Bantham, Bigbury, Galmpton and Malborough with Kingsbridge and Salcombe being about 5 miles away.
