🚨 Schedule Update for Folk Night! 🚨

Unfortunately, due to a prior commitment, Taste Of The Wild Pizza won’t be able to join us in the car park this Wednesday (12th August) for Traditional Folk Night 😢.

But don't worry-they are swapping dates with us and will be here instead on Thursday 13th August during Open Mic Night! 🎸🍕 Catch them serving up those amazing wood-fired pizzas from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM as usual. See you there! 😄

Live Music This Friday: Welcoming back The Craving 🎸

Catch The Craving playing live this Friday, 26th June from 7pm. A brilliant three-piece band—and best friends—they bring a wonderful atmosphere and a fantastic setlist of proper classics to the evening. Look forward to Dave’s expressive guitar riffs, Ollie’s soulful saxophone, and Lisa’s distinctive, husky vocals.

They play a great mix of feel-good, upbeat music and classic soul and blues from favourite artists like Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Eagles, Dire Straits, and Tina Turner—alongside a few welcome surprises from the likes of Jefferson Airplane and The Doors.

The music is sorted and the atmosphere is set—all they need now is great company to share the evening with.

Please note that we will be CLOSED on Thursday, 18 June as we are taking a day to celebrate Royal Ascot Ladies Day at a charity event in the village!

🎷 Jazz, Pizza & Pints: The Midweek Treat You Need!

Ditch the sofa this Wednesday and head down to The Globe Inn for a proper night out. We’ve got the fantastic The Travelling Gooseberries back with us, bringing their effortless jazz style to the pub from 7pm until 9pm.

If you’re feeling peckish, the brilliant Taste of the Wild Pizza will be pitched up in the car park. They’ll be serving up slices of deliciousness from the wood fired oven 5pm until 8pm, and you are more than welcome to bring your pizza inside to enjoy at your table.

Trade the telly for a lively pub atmosphere this Wednesday and join us at The Globe Inn. We’re hosting our regular Traditional Folk Night, organised by Nigel and Sarah Sture. The room will be filled with acoustic tunes, classic melodies, and foot-stomping rhythms from 8pm.

To keep you refuelled, the wonderful Taste of the Wild Pizza will be set up in the car park. They’ll be serving up delicious, wood-fired pizzas fresh from the oven from 5pm until 8pm - and yes, you are absolutely welcome to bring your pizza inside to eat in the bar.

There is truly nothing better than a fresh, hot pizza paired with a crisp pint of ale or a large glass of wine to get the music going. Whether you’re grabbing an early bite on the way home or settling in for the whole session, we’d love your company.
