The Creamery Wild Goose Barn The Creamery Wild Goose Barn (South Devon) - sea views close to stunning beaches sleeps 6 Wild Goose Barn and Creamery was built around 1850.

The barn was originally used as a dairy and creamery. It is a traditional Devon Bank barn, where the horse and carts would drop off the hay and grain at the top of the barn to be stored and then be easily fed to the cattle below via gravity. The cows would muster in the courtyard ready to be milked and this could then be made into clotted cream ready for a strawberry Devon cream tea...

ng much of the barn is a traditional Devon bank. From the top of the bank are some terrific views to the sea. The sea and sandy beach at Wonwell is only a short walk away through the bluebell woods (Furzedown and Wrinkle woods) on the west side of Kingston. Wild Goose Barn is a place of peace and tranquility but also offers visitors a place for fun, exploration and adventure.
