Sunshine we’re ready for you at Kingsdown Camping! 🏕️☀️

We’ve got you covered in our onsite shop. From sun cream, to ice cream, cold drinks and ice. You’ll find all the essentials to help keep you cool at our campsite.

As you know we’re expecting extreme heat over this weekend, so please ensure you bring suitable clothing and essentials to keep yourself and your children refreshed, cool and protected when staying with us.

We want everyone to have a great time onsite, so you can also benefit from:
- A cold drink 🍻🍷🍾
- Pizza on Friday, rotisserie chicken on Saturday from the onsite food truck 🍕🍗

Jason is the heart beat of the campsite. He’s not just a happy face in the office, you’ll often find him out onsite, ensuring everyone has the most amazing experience, you’ll even find him behind Sam’s bar pulling a pint for you on the odd occasion!

We need your help! Our Campsite Buggy needs a name…

If you’ve stayed onsite with us, you would have seen our campsite heroes nipping around in the buggy delivering your fire baskets and assisting our campers across the site 🦸🏻

Aside from the cool numberplate, we think it needs a name! That’s where you come in!

Ask your kids, ask your friends, suggest some names yourself!

Share with your camping buddies and see what they can come up with too!

NEW in the Kingsdown Camping shop! 🍦

With going to town with their advertising at the moment of their new Cookie Dough Ice Cream Sandwich, we thought it was about time we stocked them in our shop!

Our staff have been taste testing for you and here’s the verdict…

Sam “easy to eat, the cookie dough is just like the Ben & Jerry’s cookie dough ice cream, but with a cool ice cream filling instead”.

Stace “A delicious melt in the mouth combo of a sweet vanilla and chocolate cookie and tasty ice cream. My new fave!”.

They’ve been very popular with our guests so far!

May Bugs 🪲

We love the outdoors here at Kingsdown Camping. Our site is home to such wonderful wildlife and biodiversity.

The last week or so we’ve had some visitors! May bugs have joined us onsite. They won’t be here long, but they do camp with friends. They often come out just before dusk! 🪲🪲🪲

Please be assured they are harmless and won’t bite. They may swarm for a short time and they will disappear as quickly as they appear, so please don’t panic and bear with them, as they don’t stay for long. By sunset they will be gone again.

They obviously love Kingsdown Campsite as much as our campers do!

At Kingsdown Camping, we like to think of all the extras that make your camping trip more memorable and hassle free.

If you hire one of our fire baskets, we deliver it straight to your pitch and collect it when you leave. No ash, no mess, no need to make space for one in your boot.

And you don’t even need to go on a mission to find logs before you leave home, as in our onsite shop we sell:
- logs
- kindling
- firelighters
…and the all important marshmallows!
