Combining the charm of a historic setting with the comfort of a modern hotel, we are independently owned and proud to offer a truly personal service. Welcome to Passage House Hotel, a riverside retreat set on the banks of the River Teign Estuary in Kingsteignton, Newton Abbot. We have 90 en-suite bedrooms, many with estuary views, along with self-catering apartments, duplexes, and lodges. This flexibility makes us ideal for couples, families, business travellers, or longer stays. Dining includes The Vue Restaurant & Brasserie, where locally sourced Devon produce is served with panoramic estuary views, and our signature Afternoon Tea, best enjoyed on the terrace or in the conservatory. Right next door you’ll also find the Passage House Inn, an 18th-century pub and restaurant with plenty of local character. Guests can relax in our Leisure Club, which features a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, and gym, with flexible memberships also available. We are also one of Devon’s top choices for weddings, celebrations, conferences, and events, with five versatile function rooms and stunning riverside views. From birthdays and anniversaries to corporate gatherings and celebrations of life, our team ensures every detail is handled with care. Just minutes from Newton Abbot and within easy reach of Exeter and the M5, Passage House Hotel is the perfect base for exploring Devon and the South West, while riverside walking and cycling paths lead directly from our door.
