**Samhain Community Gathering at Lovebrook.**

Join us on Saturday 31st October at 1.30pm as we gather again in community, to celebrate the next turn of the seasonal wheel.

This time it is Samhain - a time to honour the ancestors, those who have gone before, those who have inspired and influenced us, and those who we miss dearly. A time to honour grief in all its forms, and to be in gratitude for the harvest we continue to gather as the days grow shorter and the nights draw in.

We are lucky to have our dear friend of the farm Ruth Gleeson Ruby Vine joining us again, and guiding us through our time of ritual, poetry and prayer.

We will light a candle, make an offering, sink deep into a drum journey, and set intentions for the coming season.

Please feel free to join us, and if you wish to bring something to honour a dear one that has died, then please do. A photo, an object, some offerings from nature. All is welcome at the altar we will create together.

Roisin, founder of ✨Wildling ✨ - a science teacher turned fermentalist, will run a workshop on the fermented drink, water kefir. She will share her passion for real fermented foods, talk about gut health and how we can build up our gut microbiome using simple ideas.

There will be lots of tasters of her fantastically fizzy kefir waters from ✨Wildling ✨, opportunities to buy Wildling drinks, or even start your own fermentation journey with her wonderful water kefir kits!

It's another busy week at Lovebrook 🌸🌱🍁

Friday Night Sauna...

Mix up your Friday night and join us for our Sunset wood-fired saunas from 6-7.30pm. This deluxe session includes natural salt scrubs, a clay face mask & guided meditation led by your host, making it the perfect way to unwind after a busy week!

Saturday Farm Shop and Cafe...

On Saturdays, there is something for everyone. We are open 10-3, rain or shine, offering freshly baked goods, hot coffee and Lovebrook produce.

And, while you are here, why not book a wood-fired sauna. We have 1-hour sessions at 10 am & 11 am, drop in for yoga at 12.30 am- 1.30 pm, or bring the little ones for family nature club at 10 am-11.30 am.
Plus, we have a FREE workshop with Sam Hart at 1.30 pm too!

Twig Ceramics X Lovebrook

We wanted to give the wonderful Rosie from Rosie Tweedale a big shoutout for holding our first pottery workshop! It was a beautiful session of foraging, hand-building mugs and being on the land.

Winter Farm Fridays starting Nov 6th at Lovebrook!!!

Can’t wait to get started on our winter community programme…especially our new look Friday session.

All are welcome to join us every Friday through the season to get involved in all the site wide aspects of the farm. We have hundreds of trees to plant, mulching to do, pruning, planting, propagating, creating new areas of the farm and lots more.

The sessions will be a blend of learning , sharing knowledge, hands on practical tasks…and of course meeting new friends and making community connections.

Plus plenty of hot drinks flowing and a nourishing hot lunch provided by us at the end which is always a highlight.

You can commit to the whole season, which is a great way to have a winter anchor to the land at a time of year we really need it most. Or you are also very welcome to drop in when you can make it.

Join Florist Fran Zoutewelle for an autumnal dried flower wreath-making workshop.

If you are looking to get creative, try your hand at wreath making with dried flowers or want to enjoy a mindful afternoon in nature & good company, then this is the event for you!

The session will start with a demonstration from Fran about how to create a wreath using willow and a range of dried flowers- all grown at Lovebrook!

She will explain techniques, designs and offer tips and tricks on how to use a range of natural materials to create a unique, long-lasting wreath to take home. Then you will have free time to curate your wreath, with Fran and her assistant on hand to help.

No previous experience is needed — this workshop is perfect for beginners and creatives alike!

This free meet-up is for anyone who is part of the Lovebrook seed saving community or wants to get involved in all things seed saving!

After the success of our seed saving talk with Kate earlier in the year, we realised there are so many people like us who are passionate about this topic. So why not come along and meet over a cup of tea.

n the meet-up, we will save seeds, share seeds, discuss what we are all growing, and it will be an opportunity to learn/ offer adivice. So whether you are green-fingered or new to growing, this relaxed meet-up is open to all.

Join us for a morning gathering at Lovebrook to celebrate Samhain with yoga, sauna and an escape into nature.

The Wheel of the Year is an ancient Celtic calendar of eight festivals that celebrate our connection with nature, signalling a shift in the season, weather, and the natural world around us. Samhain (pronounced sow-win) or “summer’s end” marks the start of the Wheel of the Year, the end of the harvest season, and as the cold air pushes life back underground, the journey to the dark half of the year signals rest and relaxation, a time to reflect on the past and plan for the future. The mystical veil between worlds thins and we honour both the seen and the unseen.

So make the most of your weekendad enjoy a relaxed morning to reset and cleanse for the coming winter.
