The Magic of Trees 🌳

We are so excited to have Greg hosting this extra special family nature club on the 6th of June, 10-11.30!

We will be exploring the land, searching for unique trees and learning about what makes them so important to nature.

The weather is not looking super sunny for tomorrow but the session will still go ahead and it's the perfect way to get some fresh air and make the most of your weekend!

See you there 🌳🌴🌲

**Volunteer with us at Lovebrook**

Did you know we host three volunteer mornings a week? Every Monday, Tuesday and Friday you can join us on the land, and take part in a nourishing morning of community, nature connection and purposeful tasks…followed by a nutritious and delicious lunch!!

Each day has a slightly different focus, and there is always something to learn, fun to be had, and tasks available for all ages and abilities.

Mondays has a permaculture focus - we are out in the wide farm environment tending to trees, hedgerows , forest garden, orchard and more.

Tuesday has a market garden focus - we are tending to the vegetables, planting, harvesting, weeding and preparing for veg boxes.

Fridays has a more therapeutic feel. A slower start with meditation and checking in circle. Then gentle tasks with flower gardens, pots, medicinal herbs and preserves.

If you would like to join us you would be very welcome. Just drop in the first time. Or send an email to Yazmin if you want more detail first. [email protected]

The time in nature, purposeful tasks and supportive community are so beneficial to all of us….we hope to share it with you soon. X###

Saturday collaborations 🥰

Saturdays are quickly becoming the busiest day at lovebrook and so our collaboration gives you the opportunity to hold a workshop, a demonstration, or talk at our pop-up Farm shop and Cafe!

Then you can sell your products or services, hand out your flyers, and promote how people can be involved with you further!

This is a reciprocal collaboration, with no financial exchange required. You benefit from being given a platform to share what you love with more people, and we benefit from having lots of interesting and exciting things to offer our community on a Saturday :)

The events will be held on Saturdays at 1.30pm at Lovebrook, throughout 2026.

If you would like to collaborate with us, then please get in touch with a short description of what you might like to offer!

Kombucha Skill Share - 16th May @ 1.30

We are very excited to announce that this Saturday, Paula will be back at the farm sharing her knowledge on all things Kombucha and how you can easily make it at home!

Kombucha is a fermented, slightly fizzy, and tangy tea drink. It is a popular, low-sugar beverage known for its probiotic content, which may aid in gut health and digestion!

Her talk will start at 1.30 and then there will be a chance for a Q&A & tasters

*Scoobys (Kombucha starters) are available for a small voluntary donation, and all funds raised will go to our community and outreach projects*

**Breaking News - New Lovebrook Market Gardening Traineeship launched for June - September**

We are over the moon to be able to share more market garden training with more of our community. If you are ready to take a deeper dive into food growing, and want to develop your skills to grow more food for your family, your community, a project or a new career path, then we would love to hear from you.

The course will take place every Monday from June 1 to September 21st, and is 17 weeks in total

It will be a combination of practical work, theory, home study and group reflection. This is the fourth year we have run it, and so many of our graduates are now working and using their new skills in various land based projects, including here at Lovebrook.

🥰 Thanks to a small pot of funding, we can offer this on a pay what you can afford basis, so hopefully cost won’t be a barrier for anyone. It’s a quick turnaround, so email for the full application details asap

[email protected]

Closing date for applications is Monday 18th May. Course starts June 1st. Hurray!!!!! 🥦🥒🥕

A Big Thank you...

We just wanted to say a massive thank you to all who sponsored Yazmin in the Brighton 10k, each donation helped to raise funds for our summer well-being in nature course and combined with the amazing pledge to double any sponsorships, we will be able to support 10 women on this 6-week eco-therapeutic course.

We feel very lucky to have such amazing support from our community - so thanks everyone!
