Raywell Park Activity Centre

Raywell Park Activity Centre Raywell Park is run by Humberside Scouts and offers camping, outdoor activities and meeting spaces. Off the A164, Humber Bridge, Beverley Road.

Raywell Park is situated in an area of outstanding beauty on a south-facing slope of the Yorkshire Wolds, with adjoining woodlands. It is located four miles north of the Humber Bridge and six miles west of Kingston upon Hull. (Landranger Series Map 106 Grid Ref 989309)

It is managed by the Humberside Scout Council primarily for the use of Scouts, Guides, Schools and other Youth Groups but can als

o be rented by agreement by commercial groups either as a residential centre or for day visitors/use. The site is ideally situated within a rural setting and relaxing atmosphere. A Host of challenges to match the most enthusiastic of mental and physical management skills can also be catered for. Raywell Park encompasses various camping grounds, and a variety of buildings for day or residential use. A variety of outdoor leisure activities are also available, subject to qualified instructor availability. On site activities include:

- Bouldering Wall
- Pedal Cars
- Grass Sledges
- Orienteering
- Garden Games
- Pioneering
- Backwoods Cooking
- Agility Course (under 12s)

2022 sees huge changes to our site with the installation of new activities, covered shelters, new kitchens and a new pot wash facility. The Raywell Operations Team are always working to develop the site and welcome feedback and activity suggestions from our users.

We’re always happy to support our local farmers and producers, particularly during what are challenging times for British farming. 🚜🇬🇧

So as we have plenty of windfall apples at Raywell Park Activity Centre , we were delighted to see them put to good use rather than simply going to waste.

They’ve found a very appreciative new home with the piggies at Rowley Produce! 🐷🍏🍎

It might only be a few apples, but supporting local where we can, reducing waste and helping each other out is something we’re always pleased to do. 💚

And judging by the pigs… they’re pretty pleased about it too! 😂🐷
