When you arrive at the pub if you could let me know you are here so I can mark you off, this way there is no waiting around.

Also if you check the signs next to the Dart board this will tell you which coach you are travelling on.

Great to see so many old faces and I hope all you new customers really enjoyed the day in the Botanic pub.

There is quite a few but I need to say a huge thanks to Danny and Jade for helping us out yesterday once again. 🖤🧡

Also well done to Johnny Hayton on winning the bus stop yesterday.

The one and only proper Hull city pub where you can walk in a stranger and walk out as a friend. 🖤🧡

This is one of those stories that really puts things into perspective.

Charlie Norman, a 33 year old mum from Hull, is living with terminal cancer and has one very special wish. She wants to take her four children to Disneyland Paris and give them memories they can hold onto for years to come.

Charlie was diagnosed with stage three cervical cancer while she was pregnant with her youngest daughter, Amyra. Her little girl was born prematurely at just 32 weeks, before Charlie began treatment.

Sadly, the cancer later returned.

Charlie is now undergoing immunotherapy and dealing with significant pain, while facing the heartbreaking reality that she may not have as much time with her children as any mum would want.

Her children are Leeroy, 10, Amna, 5, Amina, 3, and Amyra, who is just 1.

For Charlie, this isn't simply about going on holiday. It's about creating happy memories with her children and giving them something special to remember.

Her friends are now trying to raise £5,000 to help make the Disneyland trip possible, with a fundraising event also taking place in Hull.

It is a heartbreaking situation, but hopefully with a little help from the community, Charlie can get to see the smiles on her children's faces and create those memories together.
