Another fabulous review on Booking.com for THE LITTLE HOUSE in HULL, our on site self-contained guest house.

I stay in places for work all year, allover the country. This is the best place I have stayed. Milk, bread, butter fruit, tea, coffee, air fryer, sugar, orthopaedic bed, all Internet tv channels, amazing dogs, beautiful fish which you can feed, friendly chickens, huge double bedroom, lovely lounge, lovely hosts and amazing architecture.

We are a Vegan B&B but we do provide eggs from our own rescued ex battery hens. A moot point amongst most vegans. For years I did not eat eggs, but when my hens arrived to live with us and began laying, I started wondering what harm was there in eating something which they naturally produce. Each day, a number of the eggs laid are given back to the hens to eat because they love them. They are nutricious and provide them with many health benefits. I know my hens are happy, well fed and living their best life. Their eggs are not produced by force. They appear each day because that's what hens do. They are not causing pain or death to the hen. They are not babies taken away from their mother, causing untold misery and distress. Taking the eggs causing no reaction at all. Some vegans will argue that any product or bi product of a living thing is taboo, and I get that and agree. But I am yet to be convinced that something that is produced daily as part of a natural cycle, and in no way causes harm or distress, can be considered detrimental to the vegan cause.
