This September there are still plenty of opportunities to join us for a heritage railway experience through the beautiful Scottish Highlands.

📅 Throughout September, we’ll be running services every day except Thursdays and Fridays, with our final services of the month running on Wednesday 30th September.

In case you missed it, it was great to see The Boat featured by The Herald this summer as one of four wonderful Scottish courses shaped by the legendary James Braid.

Describing Boat of Garten as a course where Braid’s ability to work with the natural Highland landscape is “on full display”, the article highlights the heathland, birch, heather and natural undulations that give each hole its own character.

And perhaps our favourite line:

How much can you fit into a day at Cairngorm Mountain Resort?

Cairngorm Mountain is open again, and there’s a LOT more to do than simply take in the view!

Ride the funicular, fly down the mountain on a gravity-fuelled mountain cart, hit the mountain bike trails, have a go on the tubing slides or let the kids loose in the Adventure Play Park.

You can also slow things down with a wander through the Mountain Garden, head up to the Ptarmigan for something to eat and drink, and of course take in those huge Cairngorm views.
