There’s always something interesting to see at the Highland Wildlife Park - just 2 1/2 miles up the road from Rathmhor. This Easter brick trail sounds fun!

A Tasmanian devil, an emu and a 158kg gorilla are among the animals recreated in colourful blocks as part of the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland’s (RZSS) Bricktastic Beasts trail at Highland Wildlife Park this Easter.

In this cold weather it’s always lovely to come back to somewhere warm and cosy. As well as the very efficient ground source heat pump we have just had a new delivery of logs for the wood burning stove. Definitely warm and cosy!

And skiing … good thing the ice held!

With snow on the local mountains there are some wonderful walking and opportunities.
