Last weekend a group of yummicks went up to Kintail for our semester 1 bothy meet. Blessed with good weather (again), good food and good company, overall a great weekend. We also put the new composting toilet to good use, many thanks to the Hadden's and Woodburn's for the donations to make this possible.

A lovely sunny weekend to the bothy with a small group of yummicks. People enjoyed getting up the hills, as well as swimming and sunbathing.
Some more little bits of work has been done; including the kitchen splash backs and installation of the stove in the dining room!

Great weekend with 50 yummicks up at the bothy, while most were out on the sunny hills, a few of us cut the splash backs for the kitchen, put in the hearth for the stove, put the new plaque up and got some painting done. A beautiful weekend!

A small group of us sent out from Edinburgh on Friday to finish the kitchen, do some sanding, painting, and general fixings. Outcome of the weekend... the gas is fitted and you can now make fry-ups. // Photos by new publicity and alumni officer Alven Liao

A small group of us headed up to the Bothy this week to finish a few jobs.

We hung doors, finished fitting the kitchen, installed the gas and water pipes, drilled in the skirting board in the dining room, filled in the fireplace, and put the first coat of paint on the floor in the hallway! And, we still had time to get out to the hills and walk the classic Five Sisters!

Our new kitchen is equip with a drain sink and soon a gas hob. The gas is to be installed later this summer.
