Happy weekend everyone! We hope you’ve had a lovely week. This (very wet land locked Bank Holiday) weekend, we’ve got:

Shipped all the way from Hayle, Cornwall, and prepared by the BM kitchen team, piping hot Cornish pasties with 3 fillings:
- Steak, or
- Steak and cheese, or
- Cheese and veg (v)

Served with home-baked beans or BM coleslaw

Very limited supply so book early to avoid disappointment. A couple of vegan/GF pasties also available.

For dessert we’ve got:
- Black forest ice cream sundae (dark chocolate sponge, spiced BM plum and berry compote, chocolate ice cream, chantilly cream)
- Banoffi sundae (vanilla ice cream, caramelised brandied bananas, home made toffee sauce, chantilly cream)

Through the day there will also be a selection of filled cobs, and we wouldn't dare deprive you of Henrys Scotch Eggs!

As a reminder, we are CLOSED on MONDAY.

Good evening everyone, we hope you've had a great weekend. I think we were all relieved to get some rain. Henrys rain dance paid off, that guy, any chance for a boogie!

As the temperature has dropped a bit we thought you would be ready for a bit of spice, so this Saturday and Sunday from 6.30 we have curry!

We have Butter Chicken

Vegetable dish tbc

Served with Henry's Naan and usual sides and pickles

If you still have room there will be Kulffi to follow

Through the day, there well be filled cobs and Henry's Scotch Eggs

🎉 huge congratulations to our kitchen fairy, Charlotte, who has absolutely smashed her A-Levels and is off to the University of Warwick to study Psychology in September! 🍾

Charlotte has been an integral part of the Barley Mow for the past few years and although we will miss her greatly, we are unbelievably proud of her!

We cannot wait to see her prosper into an Educational Psychologist 🎓

Breast of Duck glazed with Pomegranate molasses on Posh Peas, Lettuce and Pancetta, served with Buttered BM Potatoes and Green Beans

Salad Nicoise with fresh Tuna Steak and Henry's Bread

BM Courgette and Cumin Fritters served with BM Tomato and Pomegranate, Cucumber and Chilli salad, and BM Buttered Potatoes

To follow we have very tempting Apple Brown Betty served with Vanilla Ice Cream and Salted Caramel Sauce

For those of you wondering, BM stands for Barley Mow, all Henry's produce grown on site.

As always through the day there will be Henry's Scotch Eggs and filled cobs.

Henry seems to be the star of the show this week, we think he's in practice for the plant and produce show coming soon!

Happy weekend everyone! We hope you’ve had a lovely week. This weekend it’s Posh Burgers, including a spiced tofu for the veggies!

Both served with selection of home-made sauces, pickles, salads and parmentier potatoes

Good evening all, we hope you are managing to keep smiling after the disappointment of the football...
At least the sun is still smiling down on us!

Something tells us that Rachel wishes she was still elsewhere, as we have another Greek menu this week.

So, from 6.30 on Saturday and Sunday we have...

Kleftiko, which is slow roast Shoulder of Lamb cooked in tomatoes, wine, onion, garlic and herbs.

Dill, Spinach and Feta tart

Both served with Henrys home grown Potatoes dressed in Olive oil and Lemon juice, and Henrys Agretti (similar to samphire but less salty)

To follow we have homemade ice cream
Blackcurrant Ripple
Orange
Coffee
