We’ve recently had a wonderful group staying at the hostel who were happy to share some photos of their stay with us, along with some lovely words below: ⬇️

“We had a wonderful stay at Kirkby Stephen Hostel! We were pleased to find a reasonably priced alternative after our initial booking elsewhere fell through.

This is a beautiful church conversion - the rooms were basic but very clean and I enjoyed a hot water shower with no issue.

The meals were home cooked by Denise (our choice) and very tasty and fresh. Food was always served on time and it was lovely not to have to wash up.

The tables and lay out worked perfectly for our large group and the kids loved playing on the mezzanine floor.

Denise is a very warm and friendly host, extremely welcoming, as is the lovely Rosie who also works there.

We had a fab stay and I would definitely recommend it!”

It’s been a busy few nights at the hostel! We’ve had the Ranger Ultras crew staying with us for the Pennine Bridleway Trail Challenge and it’s been great to be part of it 🏃🏼🏃🏻‍♀️

Runners coming in at all hours, grabbing some food, getting a bit of rest and then heading on their way home. A real mix of tired legs and good spirits.

The hostel’s worked well as a base for both the organisers and the competitors which is exactly what it’s there for! ✨
