Fellview Barn is a lovely semi detached stone barn conversion in the peaceful hamlet of Heggerscale, situated on no through lane ,just four miles from the historic market town of Kirkby Stephen in Cumbria. Fantastic walks from door, various public footpaths and bridle paths to choose from and plenty of choice short drive away. Please note maybe Sheep in the surrounding fields and Fells therefore dogs must be kept under control. Surrounded by stunning countryside and with magnificent views over the Pennine hills, this delightful cottage is perfectly located for exploring both the Yorkshire Dales National Park the Lake District and Northern pennines. Both have full height ceilings with exposed beams. stone window sills with beautiful views of the fells. carpeted flooring. Shower over Bath, Basin and loo. Tiled floor. Stairs carpeted with stair gate if required. Outside patio furniture to sit and relax in the pleasant garden, with Beautiful views of the fells. A few minutes’ drive brings you to Kirkby Stephen, where you will find tea rooms, shops, co op supermarket, fish and chip shops takeaways, restaurants and pubs. Tanhill inn the highest pub in England is a lovely short drive away. Stroll around the quaint streets and cobbled yards, or enjoy a picnic on the banks of the River Eden. Walk up the nine standards. Close by, Howgill Fells, a favourite of Wainwright, is well worth the exhilarating climb, while the famous Coast-to-Coast route passes nearby. Visit lake district and or Yorkshire dales Reeth is a great favourite. Enjoy a trip on the wonderful, historic Settle-Carlisle Railway or take a drive to Barnard Castle, where you can discover the shops and visit Bowes Museum, housing the famous silver swan. Also

Short breaks of 3 or 4 nights beg November to end of March. Please enquire over Summer. Sometimes have short breaks available as we are very flexible. Sorry we don't supply towels only hand towels in both loos. Bath mat. If your dog sleeps on bed please let us know then you can either bring your own or we will provide our dog sleeps on bed bedding! Only from Nov to end of March we leave logburner ready to light with a few logs to get you started. You can buy more logs in Kirkby Stephen. At this time we dont charge a damage/ cleaning deposit. However we expect guests to respect Fellview Barn and leave it how they found it this includes hoovering please. Pick all dog poos out of garden. Thankyou. jane.
