After finding Lockholme, moving here from Southport and then undertaking major renovations in 2016, we opened our doors to a new life as well as a new business! Enjoy a delicious homemade cake and tea welcome, relax in the pretty back garden and explore our thriving town, just a short 8 minute walk. It is full of fabulous independent shops, art galleries, cafes, bars and pubs. Wander along the banks of the River Eden at Frank's Bridge and follow the fascinating Poetry Path, a 2 mile trail with 12 poems carved into stone along the route. Take in the history of the abandoned railway line over 2 impressive viaducts in Stenkrith Park, giving amazing views on a delightful circular walk, passing a magnificent waterfall and enjoying the pretty village of Hartley. We are very close to the stunning Lake District and all it offers, as well as easy access to the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
