If you want a calming, relaxing, rejuvenating break from the everyday, Northumberland Nook is the place to be.... Bringing you into the countryside and experiencing the quieter side of life. Hyem is all yours, no next door neighbours (apart from Alpacas if you choose!) and barely a soul will be seen for your entire stay. With a large secure garden Hyem is properly dog friendly yet there is no scrimping on the details with a touch of five star luxury.

We had an exciting evening with at the Destination North East Tourism Awards on Thursday evening! Got all dressed up and everything!! Think I've only just recovered 🙈!

We won Silver in the Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park of the year 2026! We're very proud to have achieved this recognition in the short time we have been up and running and want to thank all our guests, past, present and future!

We also want to thank our good friends who have supported us through this rollercoaster ride 😂!! And thanks to all involved hosting the evening, is was a great night 🥂 Also congrats to the others in our category.

WEEKEND AVAILABILITY!!!! ... Due to unfortunate circumstances we have had a cancellation on Friday 6th March - Monday 9th March. We can take a two or three night booking for these dates. Please DM us if you would like to make a booking as it's not available on the website yet!

Wake up somewhere different, somewhere remote, some where so secluded you may not see a single soul for your entire stay and somewhere totally dog friendly!

Hyem has been made with our heart and soul and is now being loved by our guests with their heart and soul! Nothing makes us happier! 😊

We've opened up one night stays from next week for the rest of January and February. There's only five available so get them quick if you love a last minute, short, cosy winter getaway, there's even a Friday night in Feb!! Just make sure you bring a bobble hat for a winter dip in the rooftop bath!
