A welcoming B&B on the outskirts of Kirkwall, offering stunning views, peaceful surroundings and private first floor guest accommodation with its own entrance. Aultnagar Accommodation welcomes you to our newly refurbished en-suite guest bedrooms and dining room situated on the outskirts of Kirkwall with spectacular views over the town and harbour and nearby golf course. Private guest entrance into the guest dining room with stairway leading to the guest bedrooms on the first floor - en-suite Double, en-suite Kingsize/Twin or Single room with private shower room. Also cereal, fruit and juices along with tea & coffee all available for guests to self-serve in the guest dining room. The dining room is equipped with kettle, toaster, microwave, oven and fridge/freezer for guest use at any time during your stay to prepare snacks, eat takeaways or relax in enjoying the views. Special diets catered for if requested in advance. To accommodate flexible check-in, key box access can be available on arrival. Rooms include:

Laundry service available on request or there is a laundrette in town if preferred. Owners do not enter guest bedrooms for housekeeping during a short stay but this can be arranged in advance for longer stays. Additional towels, linen etc are available on request. Use of garden with outside storage available for push bikes, golf equipment etc at guests own risk. Car parking for one vehicle per room, parking at guests own risk. We are situated 1.5 miles from the harbour front. We overlook Orkney Golf Club, only 0.5 miles away by car or less by foot using nearby track. The town bus route 9 passes the door into town where you can access transport for touring the mainland or ferries to visit the outer islands. Our family room prepared as a Kingsize for our visitors arriving off the late boat from Shetland.
This large room with sofa has great views over the town and harbour. Comfy chairs in the hallway offers another area to relax with a book, view Wideford Hill or enjoy the farm animals and wildlife in the fields. A comfortable space for our couple who are staying with us this week whilst exploring Orkney.
So glad it was a calm night for their sail down.
