Our spring guests will agree that the pet lambs have been an absolute delight to feed this year. One lamb in particular showed great personality, leaving her natural mother, who had been poorly for a period, to gallop down the field in the hope of getting just one more bottle feed. Pictured here is 'Number 3' (so sorry about the lack of imagination when naming the family!) on a blustery day.

We have enjoyed some days of beautiful clear skies for some days now. While checking the sheep at 5am last Thursday, we saw the sunrise and were eagerly anticipating an eclipse as the moon passed in front of the sun. A very eerie experience about 9.30am at Falls of Holm, when a previously bright blue, sunny9 sky became dull and all the birds were silent. Just had to get my camera!
