Can’t believe this is a whole 9 years ago. This renovation took just under a year to complete and this was about 2 months before opening.

I absolutely loved the process and would love to do it again- if someone else was paying for it all that is 😂

❤️We have the most amazing guests❤️.

We were talking this week and realised Gen and Mark have been visiting us for nearly 10 years. Gen’s daughter and my friend got ready for her wedding in the farmhouse in 2017 and they soon returned to celebrate a significant milestone birthday with friends and family.

Since then they’ve been coming to the barns just the two of them with their dogs and it’s always a pleasure to see them.

Gen calls it her second home and her happy place and always brings a smile to my face when I see her as she’s so happy and enthusiastic about visiting.

What bigger compliment can there be than returning time and time again.

Thank you so much for the flowers- they’re gorgeous ❤️

There’s something rather special about the countryside in Autumn. 🍃✨

Crisp mornings, golden leaves, winding country lanes and beautiful views make this the perfect time of year to put on your walking boots and explore the great outdoors.

Whether you fancy a gentle stroll doing our circular walk around the site, or fancy doing a scenic walk to the pub or you fancy venturing up the trigg point 1800 ft above see level, you can take in the changing colours, breathtaking views - there’s plenty to discover right on our doorstep. 🥾🌳

And after a day out exploring? There’s nothing better than returning to the private electric hot tub where you can admire the countryside you’ve just navigated at a slower pace enjoying a well-deserved glass of w**e. 🍂🍷

I haven’t found what I’m looking for with regards to artwork in the bedrooms but I’ve been eyeing these prints up for ages and thought they’d be great in the snug.

⭐️The top three places I recommend to guests for walks, views, nice cafes and all are dog friendly.

❤️Elan Valley - A series of manmade dams each with its own character. Whether you’re walking , biking or driving around them you won’t be disappointed.

❤️Llandrindod Wells- Llandod lake as it’s known has transformed in the last few years. Take a gentle stroll around the lake or for the more adventurous take part in the range of water sports on offer on the lake- whichever you choose the dragon is the main attraction 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

❤️Devils bridge- Visit the three bridges and take a walk around the waterfalls before rewarding yourself with a glass of w**e looking out at the magnificent views.
