⭐️That’s our Summer Season 2026 done ✅⭐️

It’s been a busy one, a hot one☀️, but an enjoyable one. We’ve met loads of lovely couples, families and groups.

❤️Huge thanks to the team for keeping things ticking over - Amy, Ceri, Sophie, James and Llewelyn -couldn’t do it without you all ❤️

❤️Thank you to everyone who trusts us with their Summer holiday, it’s an absolute pleasure to host you all and having all the lovely feedback and lovely chats along the way makes all the hard graft worth while ❤️

Right it feels like we are on the final stretch of the summer holidays. We are starting to plan for the kids going back to school/ college whilst others are planning their next getaway when generally things are quieter- however with us peace and quiet is pretty much guaranteed all year round 😉

So- if you fall into the latter category - here is our September availability for a last minute break.

⭐️⭐️Important update⭐️⭐️

We have taken the decision to temporarily ban the use of BBQ’s and fire pits in all our accommodations due to the current wildfire risk in our area.

The safety of our livestock, wildlife, properties and surrounding farmland has to take priority during this extreme heat.

We realise this may be disappointing however we hope you understand.

We’ll update you as soon as we can with any further changes.

Please don’t be offended …..

I’ve come to realise that when I’m doing changeovers or hot tub checks and I see a dog coming towards me about to go on a walk or one playing in the garden I will always greet them first 😂

It’s not intentional but we have some absolute gorgeous dogs and I can’t help myself and find myself talking to them first making sure they’re having a great stay before looking up to say Hi to their owners🐶

I also like to play a little game of guess the breed 😂 maybe we could take this online. Show me a pic of your dog and I’ll guess the breed 😂

Right got to be honest ….

☀️☀️I don’t know where these summer holidays are going. We are about (I think ) half way and have totally neglected keeping this page up to date. ☀️☀️

❤️We’ve had more changeovers this Summer due to a few shorter breaks which is great but ironing in this heat has been challenging. 😅

If you want to know our upcoming availability or have any questions or just want to drop a comment to say ‘Hi- I can see you’ so Facebook doesn’t keep reminding me I’ve posted less often, then please do 🤪

We enjoyed a lovely wedding party last night and we have 4 changeovers tomorrow so right now I’m sat down and have no intention of moving for the rest of the evening 😂

❤️Today is a special day for two reasons ❤️

❤️1962 - 64 years ago the Jones family purchased Maesgwyn and we still have a copy of the particulars and it’s certainly changed since then.

❤️2008 - a whole 18 years ago James and I got married !!! It was a beautiful sunny day just like today☀️☀️

❤️The group getaway - does your group chat sound something like this-

Let’s go away. Ye let’s get something booked. What dates can you do? Where shall we go? …..silence 😂

Let’s make it simple. Sleeping from 2-22 we have something for everyone.

📍Centrally located we are within easy reach wherever you are in the country and have plenty of space for everyone to park.

❤️The barns are great for small families who want to be together but need your own space.

❤️The farmhouse is a great social space for larger groups and multigenerational groups - we have a downstairs bedroom with WC next door - often affectionately called the granny annexe for those with limited mobility or if you need wheelchair access, 1 Beacon View Barn is perfect 😊

Whatever your setup - we can find the perfect combination for you and your group.

❤️What’s the three things we get told most often when guests come to stay

⭐️It’s just sooo peaceful, we can actually switch off and feel recharged.

⭐️You’ve thought of everything- this is a lovely one to hear. There’s nothing worse than going away and the the first thing you need isn’t provided and nothing better than things you haven’t thought of are provided !!

⭐️I wish we’d booked for longer - Sometimes guests extend their stay when we have availability but lots of people come back again and again which we absolutely love ❤️
