We’re celebrating a very special milestone – 30 years of Phil at Cottons! ❤️

Phil joined us back in 1996 as a Fitness Instructor and, three decades later, he’s our much-loved Spa Manager. From his incredible knowledge and experience to his always-cheery personality, Phil has become a huge part of what makes Cottons so special.

Loved by our members and team alike, it was only right that we marked the occasion with plenty of cake, Prosecco and, of course, a few stories from the past 30 years! 🥂🎂

Join us at Cottons for a relaxed evening of pottery painting, Prosecco and a delicious charcuterie board, in partnership with local pottery painting business Knutcraft.

Choose your own mug, plate or bowl to paint and personalise, with all materials and guidance provided. No experience needed - just bring your creativity!

Your evening includes:

Next up in our 'Meet the team' series is Paul, our Deputy General Manager.

With 18 years of experience in the hotel and leisure industry, Paul has held leadership roles across some well-known names in hospitality.

Throughout his career, Paul has gained experience across hotel operations, food & beverage, events, guest services and people management. He’s passionate about developing teams, maintaining high standards and most importantly, creating outstanding guest experiences.

Away from Cottons, Paul is a big fan of video games, with a particular love for Pokémon and Star Wars. He’s also an avid reader and music enthusiast, enjoys keeping active at the gym and taking on outdoor adventures. Want a fun fact? Paul previously co-hosted and ran his own podcast! 🎙️

His advice to our team is simple: never stop looking for opportunities to learn and grow, while remembering to make time for yourself and maintain a healthy balance.

We’re delighted to have Paul as part of the Cottons team. Keep an eye out as we introduce more of the people behind Cottons! 👋
