Bells of Peover is a Grade I listed building which dates back to the mid 13th Century. It was originally known as the Warren de Tabley Arms but was changed to the present title in the 1890s, named after the Bell family who continued to run it for several generations. George Bell is buried just 50 yards away in the adjoining church. We fly the Stars and Stripes alongside the Union Jack because Eise

nhower and Patton were stationed nearby at the Hall during WWII and held strategy meetings in the bar here. They gave permission and are displayed to this day! Matching the surrounding affluent area, this destination food house has very much its own individual character. Refurbished in November 2008, it has retained the traditional look in keeping with the building, but has a brighter feel with neutral light decor and some new solid oak floors. The low ceilings are partly beamed, there are open fires lit in the winter months and four distinct areas with antiques all around. The food can be chosen from a main menu and we use fresh, local produce. You will be served meals which have been prepared from the freshest of ingredients and cooked to order. To complement your meal there is an extensive choice of quality wines or a good selection of award winning real ales if preferred. When you are looking for something a little out of the ordinary then Bell of Peover will be an excellent choice.
