Great wildlife though. Oystercatchers, two male mallard ducks, bloody greylag geese, herring gulls, cuckoos, heron, bloody hoodie crows, raven, sandpipers, rock pipits, wheatears…

It’s been the most amazing week of weather.
Blue skies, stunning sunsets. The cuckoos are back and we’re not fed up of them yet.
Filming for a major film in this part of the world is almost over but the scenery is the real star of the show.

Finally we get sunshine.
It’s been pretty wild for the last week or so. Not ideal for making a film but sunny skies are here again.

Known as MacKenzie’s chain of mail, MacRaes were renowned for their fierceness in fighting. Some might say that’s still the case.
