If you are visiting Scotland . Try to visit one of the many Highland games that take place all over the country.
Yesterday we visited Lochcarron Highland Games.
What a fantastic day, there is something to do for all the family. Free activities for the children. Local arts and crafts to buy,and a variety of food options. You can enter raffles,buy local tartan or just sit and watch the games.
If you do visit Lochcarron in the future,dont forget Attendale Gardens and House is there as well. Acres of garden with statues,running water,areas to sit and relax,not to mention a small cafe.
Both are well worth a visit.

Mike and I went exploring yesterday to the Plock in Kyle of Lochalsh.
Beautiful scenic views,places to have a picnic.
The Plock itself use to be a golf course, but nowadays it has rare plants,wildlife, secret coves and three walks graded to suit ability.

Well worth a look!

Last night at 9.38pm we had an abundance of cuteness......no not Mike......playful Pine Martins coming to visit....so cute!!!
