Chef Ernst has been sharing a few snaps from the kitchen lately, and we couldn’t resist passing them on 📸 (you might have already spotted them on our IG stories?)

Dinner here often starts with his black treacle & pumpkin seed soda bread, baked fresh every day (still warm when it hits the table.)

We’ve checked with our visitors, and the verdict is in… Newton Lodge might just be dog heaven. 🐾

Dogs are very welcome in our ground-floor guest rooms, and you’ll often spot them snoozing by their owner’s side in the lounge or bar (if it’s not too busy).

We just ask that they’re supervised, kept off the beds, and of course, respectful of our neighbours (the sheep, deer, and other wildlife who call this corner of Assynt home. 🐑🦌)
