Our story started in 2025 with the opening of Desi Lounge, where our focus was simple: serve authentic, freshly cooked food using quality ingredients and traditional flavours.

After a fantastic response from our customers, we quickly outgrew Desi Lounge and knew it was time to take the next step 👀

In 2026, TukTuk Indian Street Food was born, a bigger and more exciting concept, while keeping the same passion for fresh, authentic food at its heart 🇮🇳❤️

Leading our kitchen is Head Chef Siraj, originally from Nepal and a highly experienced, multi-award-winning chef. Siraj has achieved incredible recognition within the industry, including winning at the English Curry Awards three times and finishing as runner-up twice.

His experience, knowledge and passion are at the centre of everything we serve. At TukTuk, we believe great food starts with great ingredients, which is why we use fresh ingredients, nothing frozen, and every dish is cooked fresh to order.

From traditional curries and street-food favourites to our signature dishes, everything is prepared with care, flavour and authenticity.
