Betrayal returns to Lancaster House Hotel on Friday 18th September, an interactive game night of secrets, suspicion and strategy inspired by The Traitors. Expect an arrival drink, a two course dinner, and a night spent working out who's playing who.

It's still technically summer, but somewhere in the kitchens at Lancaster House Hotel, someone is already testing the mulled wine.

Festive events run from 29th November all the way through to New Year's Eve, including:

Christmas Wreath Making Workshop
Frozen-themed Afternoon Tea
Candlelit Christmas Supper with the Haffner Orchestra
Santa's Grotto
Festive Lunch with Santa
A Three Course Christmas Carol
New Year's Eve Gala Dinner

Planning a wedding and not sure where to start looking.

Lancaster House Hotel is opening its doors for a Wedding Open Day on Sunday 27th September, 2pm to 6pm. Come and see The Bowland Suite and The Dalton Suite dressed exactly as they would be on the big day, try some food tasters, and have a glass of fizz while you take it all in. The events team will be around all afternoon to answer questions and talk through your ideas.

Entry is free and there is no need to book, just turn up, though you can pre-register for a no-obligation showround if you would rather have a set time. Sunday lunch is on from 1pm, The Sandeman Bar is open all day, and if you stay on for dinner at The Foodworks Restaurant you will get 20% off your food bill. Special bedroom rates are also available on enquiry.

Tag your other half if a September Sunday just found its way onto your plans.

If you have ever watched The Traitors and thought you would spot the liars in seconds, here is your chance to prove it.

Betrayal is Lancaster House Hotel's own take on the social deduction game night, hosted with Lancaster Escape. The evening opens with a drink to loosen everyone up, moves into a two course dinner at The Foodworks Restaurant, then the game begins. Some of you will be Betrayers. The rest have to work out who before it is too late.

Tickets are £50 per person and spaces are limited, with dates on Friday 18th September, Friday 23rd October and Friday 13th November, 7pm start. The more of you who get booked in, the more of these nights we can put on.

Sharing plates done properly in The Sandeman Bar at Lancaster House Hotel.

Crispy duck bao buns, bourbon BBQ chicken, and pork belly with crispy garlic and paprika sit alongside grilled harissa halloumi, piri piri hummus, and spiced olives. There's a chestnut mushroom gratin for something warmer, garlic flatbread for scooping, and a kohlrabi slaw to cut through the richness.

Built for a table of friends and no rush to finish it.

It's Afternoon Tea Week, so we couldn't resist giving you a first look at one of our favourite events of the whole year.

On Saturday 6th December, Lancaster House Hotel is throwing a Frozen Themed Afternoon Tea Party, complete with a Meet and Greet from Elsa and Olaf, blue prosecco for the adults and blue lemonade for the children, a full afternoon tea served at your table, live songs, colouring activities and a dance floor of Disney princess music.

12pm to 2pm. £35 per adult, £25 per child. Spaces are limited, so we'd recommend booking sooner rather than later.
