Come along on Saturday to take a tour of the bee hives at Moss Wood - in person! You'll get dressed up in the beekeeper suits we'll provide you and go straight to see the apiaries where the bees live - seeing how and where the honey is made. We still have spaces in the 12 noon and 1pm tour, contact us directly to book your places!

The experts from Cross Apiary will also be here from 11am to 2pm with all the information you could possibly want to know about bees. It's absolutely fascinating! And they might even have some fresh honey to try too...

Come and take a tour of the apiaries at Moss Wood with the experts at Cross Apiary! You'll have the chance to don a proper beekeeping suit and get up close and personal with the bees in their home - take a real look at how they live and how they make the honey we love. There will also be a great display on show in the Summer Marquee for anyone interested to find out more about our buzzing buddies!

There will be three groups of six available - leaving from the marquee at 11am, 12noon, and 1pm. Up to three children can go on a tour at a time and must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Firm footwear that covers the ankles must be worn - preferably boots.

We'll open up the booking on Monday 8th - first come, first served.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to sponsoring Neil and the Typhoons RUFC team doing the 42 mile Keswick to Barrow walk on 9th May. The team together have raised over £4,500 for Lancashire & Cumbria Blood Bikes - which is phenomenal. We couldn't have done it without your generous support.
