Boskins Barn

Boskins Barn Boskins Barn and cookery school is nestled under Clougha Pike with views across the valley in the idyllic countryside of the Forest of Bowland.

Foodie extras are available during your stay and look out for our cooking courses on offer throughout the year. I'm Adrienne, owner of Boskins Barn and Cookery school in the beautiful Forest of Bowland. I recently relocated here to be closer to nature and the wonderful British countryside. After renovating the old cattle shed on our farm, we started a holiday let and delivering cookery workshops.

My background is in food and nutrition and I have worked in product development in industry and taught food in schools for many years. I love to cook and use local, natural produce to make delicious and nutritious food to share with family and friends and I enjoy sharing my knowledge and skills with others. So why not indulge in some foodie extras during your stay such as a ready made meal on arrival, a breakfast basket, a picnic to take away, an afternoon tea or a cookery workshop tailored to your needs? The choice is yours!

The last few days have been glorious, a far call
from the April showers that defined the month just a week ago. The world has suddenly turned green around us as the leaves emerge on the trees and the woodland floors are swathed with carpets of blue. As we move into May I’m excited to see what nature has in store for us next!

Well I can’t believe it’s gone full circle and we are back to our foraging workshops making fresh pasta and wild garlic pesto together. That’s a whole year since my cookery school got off the ground! It’s been a fabulous journey and there have been so many people to thank along the way, not least the wonderful people that attend my classes. We have so much fun, cooking up the most delicious dishes and enjoying a relaxing lunch together. Thanks to each and every one of you who have supported me along the way!
