We've a busy few days ahead of us here at Lancaster Walks, Talks & Tours! We're leading tours at Lancaster Castle with our Lancashire Museums colleagues today! Tommorow morning sees us continuing our ongoing researches into The Storey Gardens and a catch up with our visit Lancashire partners at The Dukes, Lancaster in the afternoon! 🎭

In the latter half of the week you have the option of joining us on two public tours of Lancaster -
Hauntings, Hangings & Horrid Happenings on Thursday evening & Lancaster Day - Ale & Tavern Trail on Friday afternoon! Tickets for both events are available from Trybooking.com/UK! 👻 🎟🍻

£475 left to raise 🤞we have a community defibrillator this summer 🤞

We’d like to say a big thank you to Tom from Apex Locksmith and Joinery who came out to look at a digi lock installation job for the campsite, priced it up, ordered and fitted it all within 10 days (there was a bank holiday weekend included in there too).

Love supporting local businesses and enjoy sharing a great service 👍 🔒 🚪

A brilliant, multi-day stay-over challenge to experience the full stretch of the Lancaster Canal Towpath Trail at your own pace. Take 2 or 3 days and really make the most of this stunning stretch of canal towpath, known as the most northerly canal path in England.

Covering around a marathon distance, this route takes you through peaceful countryside, canal heritage, quiet towpaths, waterside views, local villages and plenty of welcoming places to stop along the way.

With transport links between Kendal and Lancaster with Stagecoach, Northern Rail or TransPennine Express, you can walk one way and hop on a bus or train back to where you began. Or you could take a few extra days and walk back along the route again to enjoy it backwards.

Berry’s Farm Campsite had a lovely bank holiday weekend in the ☀️. We went for a lovely walk-calling in to local businesses asking them to display our ‘defib’ fundraising poster for us….
