Beautiful…such a lovely, relaxing place to visit…..a ‘hidden gem!’ to quote BBC Lancashire when they visited Glasson Dock this week

Stay at Berry’s Farm Campsite , which is only a 5mins drive from Glasson, 1/2hour walk or a 15/20mins cycle along the canal tow path or estuary path (mainly traffic free)

Enjoyed our favourite walk from Berry’s Farm Campsite this evening…then enjoyed a drink and nibbles next to lock number 6 at Pyes Mill Hotel and watched a Barn Owl hunting, a heron patiently standing like a statue in the canal and the 2026 Solar Eclipse! Then…to top it all off-shooting stars back at the campsite!
