As always we encourage the outdoor enthusiasts who plan to stay with us to join in on the many activities right on our doorstep. From cycling, SUP, kayaking, sea-swimming or the many wonderful viewpoint and hill walks, to a calm stroll around Aubery park and along the promenade, running the length of the town. 🏄🏼🏊🏻‍♀️🚣🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️ please always bring your own equipment and make the most of what the surrounding area has to offer. 🧗‍♀️ We have a wash down area available 🚿 and storage facilities upon request.

Largs has many activity groups which can be found on Facebook. All are friendly and welcome new friends to join in anytime.

At The Old Rectory we offer a bright sun filled seating area out with your own room where you can gather your thoughts, read our many books on Largs or take in the surrounding views across our mature gardens to the sea and great Cumbrae island. We are slowly bringing more of nature indoors with our expanding collection of large house plants. 🪴 The weeping fig was welcomed home as a tiny sapling 30 years ago when my family first purchased The Old Rectory. Today it needed re-potting in a much larger pot! 🌲 Here’s hoping it continues its healthy growth for another 30 years with my ‘green fingers’ and its other big plant friends 🌱 🌳

🤩 One of the many aspects that we boast in standing out from the crowd in Largs, is our fantastic location right on the seafront at Aubery. Not only do we have amazing views but direct access to launch right on our doorstep! 🏄‍♀️ 🛶 ⛵️
