Ledcom has supported & assisted me way back in the late 1980’s & 1990’s to develop our first self catering business ‘Croft Holiday Let’ & are currently supporting us with our Ballygally Break Away / Ballygally Retreat self catering business. Thank you Ledcom!

Over the coming months, LEDCOM will be celebrating 40 years of service to Larne and more recently, Ballyclare!
When LEDCOM first opened its doors on 8th September 1987, it was a small but ambitious organisation with just 10,000 square feet of rental space at our Bank Road site in Larne. There were 14 tenants and 38 employees.
Today, four decades on, it has grown into a key enterprise centre, managing over 100,000 square feet of lettable space across four locations in Larne and Ballyclare, now home to 81 tenants employing over 350 people.
LEDCOM’s impact over the years is both measurable and meaningful. We have helped to create more than 2,400 businesses and social enterprises across virtually every sector of the economy.
While LEDCOM’s impact may feel large, it is important to remember how we operate. LEDCOM is a self-financing social enterprise with charitable status. We generate our own income, manage our own expenditure, and reinvest profits into local economic and community development.
Behind all this work stands a team of dedicated staff and a voluntary board who are known for their professionalism, trustworthiness, and care for the people they serve.
LEDCOM is, and always has been, about businesses, people and communities. Building from the ground up, helping individuals turn ideas into livelihoods, and communities into thriving ecosystems of opportunity.
As we celebrate 40 years of progress, we do so with gratitude — to our staff, our board, our partners, and every tenant, entrepreneur, and community member who has worked with us along the way.
We look to the next chapter with ambition. The legacy of LEDCOM isn’t just something in the past — it is within every job created, every business launched, and positive change within the business community.
