September is a great time to see the Roe Deer before winter comes. Often found in the wood behind the Lodges, or in the corner of the meadow and the fields below, sometimes they will even be grazing in the field on your drive in.

The boys will shed their antlers soon. 🦌

Late Summer/Autumn is a great time to catch sight of wildlife at airhouses....were you luckily enough to see the Owl during your stay this August? 🦉

We have a Tawny Owl as well but you are more likely to hear them rather than see them, but the Barn Owl is less shy and swoops over the hot tubs at dusk.

The European Black bees have been busy over the summer and we are hoping to harvest their honey soon!

We have two queens called Anita and Boadicea and they have been making their workers work hard!

We are working in partnership with Manu a local beekeeper and love learning all this stuff.
