Life is a beach in North Cornwall

There’s nothing shy or retiring about North Cornwall. With its dramatic and wild coastline, its cliffs and secret beaches, whirling seabirds, rock pools and glorious sandy beaches, it’s a perfect place to explore, and taste freedom.

Discover hidden beaches like Bossiney Cove, Trebarwith Strand, and Strangles Beach, as well as the tidal pools at Bude and Trevone Bay. Enjoy the glorious scenery around King Arthur’s castle at Tintagel, the sublime rock formations at Bedruthan Steps or walk on the high cliffs of Morwenstow on the border with Devon – and have a cream tea afterwards.

There are lots of picturesque fishing harbours and villages along the coast. Padstow and Rock are favourites, with their narrow winding streets, rows of pastel-coloured cottages and delicious local fish served at restaurants on the quayside. But don’t forget places like Boscastle and Port Isaac, which are great places to explore or have an evening meal.

The north coast is definitely the place to be. In the summer, sit on the beach and watch the sun set into the surf with a bottle of wine and a blanket, chances are you won’t be alone, surfers are known to surf all night if the waves are right! Or enjoy the wild empty beaches in winter. Of course, if you don’t want to cater for yourself, there’s plenty of restaurants, café’s and bars where you can grab a pint and a plate of good food late into the evening.

Built from British cedar, North Beer Lodge makes an immediate impression with vaulted ceilings, exposed logs and high-end finishes. If you want a place to switch off, unwind in the hot tub and take in the stars on a clear night, this is the perfect escape.

The setting is glorious, in a field where sheep and lambs graze and rest under a variety of well-established trees, oaks, copper beach and others.

We welcome dogs of any size, with no limit on numbers. The garden is grassed with a secure fence so you can relax - confident that your pets will be safe.

EV charging is available along with plenty of room for parking several cars.

With a log burner and heated throughout with underfloor heating the lodge is cosy at all times of the year.
