Dear browsers of all things Cornwall & Cornish, our B&B closed in 2016 when we sold our home to a family who had been our neighbours in Rezare.
We moved to Australia & started a brand new B&B

Rezare House B&B, Wallaroo South Australia.

A sample of hand sanitiser sold by Mosaic Brands has failed a CHOICE commissioned lab test following a community tip off. The product had an alcohol content of only 23% - well below the amount of alcohol required to be effective. Find out more: https://bit.ly/32mpwr0

For those guests who stayed with us a remember our great cat PJ, it is with immense sadness that we need to say that he died of lung cancer yesterday. It was a short illness and he was purring loudly until he slipped away with the Vet, there was nothing to be done and heroics were not appropriate for such a larger than life cat. Wherever the spirits of cats go, may he rest in peace, as he spent most of his earthly life sleeping too

The B&B remains closed & we have not sold the rights to open another business as Rezare Farmhouse B&B.

It’s fascinating how people still like the page for Rezare Farmhouse given it closed in 2016. ❤️

We were privileged to have Tim & Pamela stay with us last year at Rezare Farmhouse. A delightful couple, another significant loss to the world of entertainment. RIP

Day one of packing up Rezare Farmhouse is done and the 4 removal guys have headed up to the Springer Spaniel to eat. As they are sleeping in the vans, it could be a chilly night as its predicted to go below 0C tonight!
Its an 08:00 start tomorrow so we shall be up before the sparrows for day two of the move. We are cleaning as we go so there is not too much left.
Luckily our great neighbour Jan is feeding us tonight :-)

Dear friends and former guests, it is with a deep sense of sadness that we need to advise you that Rezare Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast is on track to cease trading this coming weekend - 13/11/16.

Since 2004/5 the Farmhouse has been hosting visitors from all around the country and globe. There have been some amazing visitors during our tenure of the farmhouse and I know Nan & Anthony had many a good time with their guests. We were unable to sell the property as a bed and breakfast, but neighbours who have always wanted to live here have almost completed their purchase.

Our plans to emigrate to Australia are on track and - fingers crossed we tentatively will leave the UK on 3rd December 2016, bound for Copper Triangle on Yorke Peninsula via Dubai and Sydney.

We plan to stay with mum and dad for a couple of days till the purchase of our new home in Wallaroo is completed. Sadly the pets will have to follow due to limited space in quarantine in Melbourne.
We have lots to do and numerous bits of furniture etc to sell or donate to charity. So if there has always been a secret desire to have any of the furniture that you have used and or admired then please do get in touch - it may still be for sale :-)

We are not having any formal good bye party, but feel free to drop in if you wish to say "catch you later" for we will be back to visit, you could never forget this part of Cornwall, such an amazing community.

Monty and PJ will stay on locally until they are able to fly out to join us in Wallaroo. If you want our new address please let us know. It is our intention to explore and set up a new B&B - tentatively Rezare House - we will be within one mile of the beach and approximately 2 hours from Adelaide, in South Australia.

Despite surviving storms of the past three years - the staghorn Sumac tree in the front garden fell over today. When going to work @ 06:45 it looked fine, Mike filled the bird seed around 08:00 it was leaning a bit. I got home from work about 13:45 and it was lying as you see it here. The two main peripheral roots seem to have snapped and the rest of the root mass is a shallow sheet just under the soil and it is obviously too heavy. Sadly it is not salvageable so I have had to start to cut it up.
