Christmas party nights are filling fast

Our party nights on 18th and 19th December are now fully booked, with availability on 4th, 5th, 11th and 12th December going quickly.

It’s a whole night of festive food, music and laughter, the perfect way to celebrate with friends, family or work colleagues.

And if you’d rather not worry about getting home, party guests can take advantage of our special overnight rates:

Basic room for two, including breakfast: £70
Standard room for two, including breakfast: £80
Some rooms can be arranged as twins on request. Rooms must be booked directly with us.

Christmas at Eagle House always starts with the tree - and it won't be long before it has been picked out!

Every year, an enormous Christmas tree arrives from a local farm and as if by magic makes its way inside the hotel (perhaps it comes down the chimney?)

Once it is standing, decorated and lit, Christmas has officially begun.

People come especially to see it, have a drink and take their annual photograph beside it – and for us, it marks the beginning of our Christmas party season.

This year’s tree will be arriving at the end of November. We’ll let you know when it is safely in place and ready for photographs.

Our Christmas party nights are on 4th, 5th, 11th, 12th, 18th (FULL) and 19th (FULL) December.

Our party nights are getting filled fast, with two dates fully booked and the others over half way booked, so please contact us soon for more info.

And our Christmas lunches will also be available Tuesday to Thursday, from 12pm to 2.30pm.

The original Philip Warren butcher’s shop opened in Launceston in 1880. Today, the family business farms native breeds, works with around 100 independent farms and dry-ages its beef on the bone for at least 28 days.

We use Philip Warren meat across our lunch, dinner, Sunday lunch and function menus at Eagle House Hotel.
