This fund raiser is run by staff and staff only, it is managed by senior managers form the Angels staffing team.

The hotel has no affiliation with Greene king other than the angel chose to buy some of their products. The building is owned by Wellington pub company, the business was run by a limited company:

Many over the past 5 weeks have given so many of the team so much support , be it financial or words or kindness, it is truly heart felt. We have had many comment on claiming different things, our understanding is you need to be employed continuously for 2 years , the company only started trading in June 2023. With that many in the trade are under 25s and the trade always has high staff turnover with staff coming and going to college and university with new openings though out the year.

Closure of The Angel Hotel

It is with regret that we inform you that The Angel Hotel ceased trading on 12th February 2025 due to insurmountable financial difficulties. The closure is the result of crippling debts owed to the energy company, suppliers, and an outstanding amount of £23,000 owed to staff who worked tirelessly over the Christmas and New Year period, including Christmas Day.

Part of January's payroll remains unpaid, and no wages have been fulfilled for the period from 21st January 2025 to 12th February 2025. As a result, staff have now lost their jobs and are actively seeking new employment, having been left in a financially difficult situation.

The business has been operating under SRPH Limited since June 2023 and has no affiliation with Market Square Hotels Limited.
There are no assets or funds available to settle any outstanding debts. We think that Fever-Tree flavoured tonic waters/mixers don’t get the recognition they deserve😊

They just add that bit of subtle difference to either a dry gin or when added to a fruity gin compliments the flavours!❤️

A few of our favourite combinations are;
▫️A Raspberry Gin with the Rhubarb & Raspberry Tonic
▫️Rhubarb & Ginger Gin with Ginger Ale🫚
▫️A dry Gin with either Elderflower or Mediterranean Tonic
