Our check out and check in times are set to allow us to complete a thorough clean of the property between guests. We always pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our properties.

We have recently had a guest complain about these times after they departed. We would always encourage our guests to get in touch direct if they have specific requests, if possible we are more than happy to allow early check ins or late check outs. It all depends on our other bookings and cleaning times. If we can make it happen we most definitely will, we just encourage you to ask!

Don't we just love a before and after? This is the kitchen of Haw Hill House when we purchased it. The property had been rented out for a number of years with very little care and maintenance. We stripped it all back and put the love back into the property and brought it up to modern standards, including a new roof! Personally I think the kitchen is a definite improvement, don't you?

We sometimes get asked what is provided when you check into one of our properties. I appreciate some hosts vary what they offer to guests, however we always provide each and every guest a bath and hand towel each. As we appeal to contractors many like to have their own hand towel as well as bath towel.

We also provide tea towel, oven glove, new dish cloth and sponge each time a guest arrives plus all the required hand washing and pot washing liquids.

We are always looking for feedback too and if you stay with us and there is something you would like us to offer then please do feedback and we will do our very best to provide in the future.

What are the advantages of booking direct?

- The main one is the cost. When booking through the online travel agents (Airbnb/Booking.com) they take a good chunk of money from your booking price before we receive. By booking direct we pass on a cost saving!

- More time, we are also happy to accommodate either an early check in or late check out if you book direct. Just chat to us for more details*.

*dependent on other bookings, guarantee a minimum of 1 hour

We appreciate, for some of our guests, a need to stay a little later on check out day is super helpful depending on their onward journey. We are therefore pleased to offer a late check out for those who need it. For an extra £25 we can secure you an additional 2 hours (minimum) in the morning.

So if a lie in is needed.....we can help make that happen. Just contact us direct if you require a late checkout.

Normanton! It may be a place you have never heard of before so i thought i would share a bit more information about the town and why we run short term lets in this area.

Normanton is a small market team, located north-east of Wakefield and very close to the M62 motorway. It boasts its own railway station as well as a high street full of shops and supermarkets. It is a great place to live with all of it's amenities and proximity to other local towns and cities.

Our short term lets are perfectly situated between the town centre and the motorway, therefore appealing to a range of guests. In the week we attract those travelling to the area for work and at the weekend those in search of leisure and family fun. There is no better place to visit many parts of Yorkshire from!
