🍂 November in Leek & the Peaks 🩵

There’s something rather lovely about the Staffordshire Moorlands in November.

The mornings turn crisp, the countryside takes on those beautiful autumn colours, and the pace of life seems to slow just enough to enjoy it all.

🥾 Wrap up warm for a walk across the Roaches, wander beside the water at Tittesworth Reservoir, or explore the woodland paths around the Churnet Valley.

☕ Head back into Leek for a warming coffee, a mooch around the independent shops and a long lunch somewhere cosy. Our historic market town has plenty of character, whatever the weather.

🍰 Take the scenic route, discover a village you’ve never visited, find a new favourite farm shop or simply spend an afternoon enjoying the views.

And when the light fades early? That's your cue to put the kettle on, open something delicious and settle in for a slower evening.

November doesn't have to be about waiting for Christmas. It can be about getting out, exploring somewhere new and enjoying the little things along the way.

We have a little pocket of availability from Friday 30th October to Monday 2nd November (or Sunday 1st if no inset day) at Stonesthrow Townhouse in Leek.

🎃 Halloween at Stonesthrow 🎃

There’s something rather lovely about a little Halloween getaway…

Pumpkins on the doorstep, crisp autumn walks, cosy evenings by the fire and a whole townhouse to yourselves. 🍂🔥

And we have availability from Monday 27th October for half term.

Perfect for families with teenagers too. There’s space for everyone, fast Wi-Fi, a PS4 with games, Carrooka for a bit of friendly competition, Netflix for lazy evenings and Leek right outside the door when they fancy stretching their legs (or finding food! 😂).

Then there’s Alton Towers just 20 minutes away for a proper day of thrills or a scarefest treat. 🎢
