A visit to the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust nature reserve at Ipstones Edge yesterday. Just five minutes from home, and looking absolutely beautiful at this time of year.

Heather, ancient woodland, dry stone walls and far-reaching views across the Staffordshire Moorlands.

One of those places that makes you stop and wonder why more people don't know about it. 💜

Just ten minutes from here, and somehow we had miles of purple heather almost entirely to ourselves.

Definitely one to remember for a summer evening.

Not every view has to be a big sweeping landscape.

Sometimes it's the hot tub waiting outside your bedroom, trees all around you and a little time to yourself.

And sometimes, depending on the sort of day you're having, that might just be the best view of all. 🌿
