Scabetti The Bromley's work, under their British label Scabetti, is a distinctive portfolio of lighting and sculpture.

Scabetti is the British art and design studio established by Dominic and Frances Bromley in 1999. Home of the original ceramic fish chandelier, Shoal, their portfolio includes commissions in corporate headquarters, hotels, restaurants and on-board ships around the globe.

The figures, sculpted by Dominic and Frances Bromley are from their Ascension Collection. Each is made from the beautifully translucent, English fine bone china.
This art piece has the added dimension of a larger figure created from the density of ceramics, with light emitting from its core.

Body of Knowledge is suspended in the centre of the Gilbert Scott staircase at the entrance to the library, in Brighton College, England. Sculpted and created by Dominic and Frances Bromley, the piece measures 1m diameter and 6m tall. The human forms, each 23cm tall, come together as a group to form a larger body with a light at its centre: A body of knowledge… the sum of the wealth of education and enlightenment offered by the College.
