🔥 Temporary Campfire & Charcoal BBQ Ban 🔥

Due to the extremely dry conditions and very high wildfire risk, we have temporarily banned campfires, fire pits and charcoal BBQs at Town Farm.

The Fire Severity Index across much of England is currently Very High, and with the ground exceptionally dry, we simply can’t take any unnecessary risks.

We’re sorry for the disappointment — we know that sitting around a campfire is a much-loved part of camping — but everyone’s safety has to come first. ❤️

🚫Campfires & fire pits — NOT permitted
🚫 Charcoal BBQs — NOT permitted
⚠️Gas BBQs & camping stoves — still permitted, with care

If you have already pre-booked a fire pit, wood or marshmallows, we will automatically refund you within the next 7 days.

🌞🌙 CAMP UNDER THE ECLIPSE! ⛺✨

Tomorrow evening – Wednesday 12th August – a spectacular solar eclipse will be visible across the UK, with over 90% of the Sun expected to be covered in our part of the country! 🌒

And where better to watch it than from the wide-open skies of the Chilterns? 🌾

Pack the tent, bring your eclipse glasses and make a night of it at Town Farm. The eclipse takes place during the early evening, so you can watch the skies before settling in for a summer night under the stars. ✨
