We took some of this years lambs which were shown in the young handler classes. The young handlers & lambs all did very well 👏

It was a great day out and fantastic to see so many entries at the show 😊

Monday motivation....sunshine and birdsong on the farm today. It feels like spring has finally arrived!

May is nearly upon us!

It’s been a few months now since we switched to being open Mon-Fri only.

The opening hours change has made a huge difference to my work/life balance giving me back precious time with my family at weekends❤️.

We have remained busy Mon-Fri despite a rather wet and miserable start to the year weather wise.

Thank you to everyone who has booked a midweek stay with us so. Our website is up to date with latest availability for those thinking about a midweek getaway.

Over the next few weeks we have some gaps in our lovely Braeburn and Bramley (with private hot tub) cabins.

2024 Time for change =No more weekends

After 10 years of running an accommodation business 7 days a week, it is time for a change.

From 2024, we will be open Mon-Fri only. Family life and farm life continue as normal 7 days a week 😊.

In a world where accommodation businesses are measured on response rates, feedback scores, reviews and testimonials where does this leave the work/life balance of the person behind the business?

Honestly? It's left me ready to make a positive change to spend quality, undivided time with my family at weekends.


We appreciate that many of our lovely guests can only visit at weekends. If this is your situation, I can highly recommend visiting for fabulous weekend breaks.

Meantime, we are still here for Mon- Fri stays 😊 hopefully more rested, healthier and happier.

The 2024 calendar is live and ready for bookings.

Summer might have been a little hit and miss this year temperature wise 🌡 but it is meant to reach 25 degrees this Saturday!☀️

We have our lovely Braeburn wigwam (in the photo) available this weekend, from Friday 6th October for 2 or 3 nights.

Each of our wigwams sleep up to 4 guests with ensuite shower, double bed with proper mattress, sofa bed for 2 guests, mini kitchen with 2 ring hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, glassware, pans, crockery, cutlery. Also you will find a TV with DVD player, table and 4 foldable chairs for inside use.
