There are so many hidden gems near our properties, and here is one we love to rave about!

Just a two minute walk from West Street Retreat in Harwich is the Electric Palace Cinema. This stunning theatre is one of the WORLD’s oldest cinemas 😯🍿

Showing everything from the latest blockbusters, to musical performances and with a traditional sweet kiosk, it really is a special place right on our doorstep - definitely worth a visit whilst staying in Harwich!

We can’t believe we are finally typing this but…

Introducing our newest holiday let, West Street Retreat - a stunning Grade II listed property in the heart of historic Old Harwich 🤍

Whilst this isn’t our first holiday let, this is the first holiday property that has needed some serious TLC and we are so excited that it is finally ready for guests to stay in!

Not an inch of the property hasn’t been painted, repaired and beautified, and we are so pleased with the final results 🎨 🔨

And just in time for the summer 🌞

🚨 BIG NEWS ALERT 🚨

We are so excited that we can finally announce that we have completed on the purchase of our newest holiday let!

This is going to be our biggest project yet as it needs a lot of TLC before it is ready for guests, but we can’t wait to get going and will of course be taking you on the journey with us! 🔨

When ready this beautiful Grade II listed property will be a haven for travellers in historic old Harwich 🏡😍

After an absolutely manic summer of bookings, we have been super quiet on here - but for good reason!

Whilst we have been busy hosting work travellers and the occasional tourist, we also have a really exciting project going on in the background (watch this space) 👀

Our first guests at Quayside Retreat have completed their trip and have left us this lovely 5 ⭐️ review!!

We are fully booked for the whole of August at our newest property, but we have a wait list in case you are looking for a last minute break, and have lots of Autumn dates to snap up here and at our other properties 🏠
