Now we are a stones throw from Ludlow in our new place ( due to open at the beginning of April ) it is easy to visit here!
Beautiful!
This stunning shot of St Laurence’s Church was taken by Shropshire based photographer According to Wikipedia, our ‘cathedral of the Marches’ is “the 13th most popular free visitor attraction in the West Midlands”. Did you know that there are 28 misericords in the church, some of which have been beautifully restored recently? And that it holds one of England’s largest collections of late Medieval glass? And that the five wooden screens survived the Reformation and the civil war (thanks for enlightening us on that). So there you have it! You might see it every day but do you really know it? Maybe pop in next time you are passing...
