Sun’s out, and the Cornish coast is calling. 🌊

A picnic, a short hop to the coast, and a whole afternoon of sand, sea and rock pools. From Cobble Cottage you’re minutes from some of Cornwall’s prettiest beaches. Readymoney Cove, Lantic Bay, Polkerris… take your pick. Swim and beachcomb all morning, then wander back to rinse off salty toes and watch the tide turn from the balcony.

My favourite kind of summer’s day.

One of the joys of a Lerryn summer — foxgloves lining the woodland walks, tall and impossibly pink. 💗

This is the kind of thing you find just by stepping out the door at Cobble Cottage. The riverside and woodland paths start right outside, so a morning stroll needs no planning, no driving — just go.

It's one of the most unspoilt corners of South Cornwall, and early summer shows it off beautifully.

Some evenings, the only thing on the agenda is a glass of wine and the tide coming in. 🍷
This is the balcony at Cobble Cottage in Lerryn — my riverside hideaway in one of South Cornwall's prettiest, most unspoilt villages. Moored boats, woodland and riverside walks from the door, and the kind of quiet that's genuinely hard to find now.
