We are taking over a beautiful site at Michelham Priory and are currently working our Blue Door magic to transform the space into a real destination.

Blue Door Barns B&B and Self Catering Barns

Our four boutique-style rooms and barns surround a magical, candlelit courtyard garden with open fire and BBQ area, and are just minutes from Glyndebourne Opera House, Charleston Farmhouse, the historic market town of Lewes and cosmopolitan 'city by the sea' Brighton.

A beautiful bolt-hole offering either bed & breakfast or self catering accommodation for weekend breaks or longer, and the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or just escape everyday life. We have a treatment room called The Snug offering a range of holistic and beauty treatments for those looking for extra pampering. We are also dog friendly and are just steps away from great walks on the South Downs.

Inspired by her time living in Cyprus and then Mykonos, Emma designed the external areas of Blue Door Barns with a slightly Grecian feel, complete with stunning outside fireplace and blue doors for all the four properties, which have become our signature. We are also visit some of the best brocantes in Normandy and also Paris, to bring home ideas and interesting pieces with which to adorn our guest rooms and main country house.
