But it is not just our perfect ales that we are proud of; our fresh menu is full of hearty pub classics mixed with lighter dishes and we cater for all dietary requirements. Our wide selection of burgers are

fast becoming famous in their own right! Situated in the heart of historic Lewes, our lovely pub is the perfect venue for residents and visitors alike and dates back to the 17th century. We are also the proud headquarters of the famous Cliffe Bonfire Society, if you want to know more, we have many photographs on display in the bar and there is usually a member or two enjoying a Harvey's Best at the bar who would be happy to tell you all about it! We have darts and 'toads' available for your enjoyment and when the sun shines, our large sun trap garden is the perfect place to enjoy a cold beverage. Dogs and children are very welcome but due to licensing restraints, children can only be on the premises until 8pm. On colder days, we have garden heaters and a roaring open fire inside to keep you warm and cosy. We have a room available for private functions and this is free to hire for any occasion; please message us or call to discuss your plans. We look forward to welcoming you soon
