A very happy meeting for Sussex Lodge 17 at Lewes FMH this week. Bro Jan who has completed two years in the Chair installed Bro Maxine a very experienced Freemason to lead the lodge forward. Bro Netisa a long standing Past Master of the lodge was honoured with London Grand Rank conferred by the Past Grand Master Bro Christine. A happy day all round.

Sussex Lodge 17 was delighted to Initiate and Pass five Brazilian women at Lewes FMH yesterday. These brethren are the final group from Brazil to be admitted into our Fraternity to hopefully form a new lodge in Sao Paolo or Rio de Janeiro in the future. Informal Festive Board was held at the nearby Cote restaurant

We were extremely pleased to resume our Masonic labours last night after a COVID break of 20 months. We were due to Initiate two candidates but sadly one of them was unable to attend at the last moment. We were however delighted to Initiate Kate who proved to be a great candidate and thoroughly enjoyed the ceremony. We rounded off the evening with a fish and chip supper.
